    FE501s

I ran a pre-production sample with a bit too soft of compound. That was corrected with the released version and I think it’s perfect for a hybrid tire. Great traction, but still has some mileage in them. Sadly, my idea for a sticky tire named the “Stickmata”, complete with crosses for tread...

    FE501s

As everyone knows, Tusk items can be great, and many are mediocre. The Recon Hybrid is the tire everyone should try. Don’t let the low price fool ya, it rivals the hybrid tires double the price (or triple, like some Goldentyre). Unless you prefer a skinnier 110, the 120 would be great for...

I hadn’t looked at the rig specs yet, but that makes sense. 👍

Notice the mini-split unit on the tail end. 😎 I’m seeing more RV owners ditching the rooftop models. Perfect for a rig like this, since he’s got some kind of platform/deck up top.

How is your Google-Fu? Help finding wheel caps

Probably. There would be some fancy programming required for those, then a coating to match afterwards. It’s possible though.

How is your Google-Fu? Help finding wheel caps

Worst case, you could build/machine a custom set or have it done. 🤷‍♂️

    2 post lifts

Is this a “clear floor” style? If so, I think this could be the lift I get as well. Looking forward to a review! 🤘

    FE501s

If they’ve been leaking a while, you very well may need new seals. However, you’d be amazed how often you can thoroughly clean each fork leg/shaft, pull the visible dust seal down, clean the area between the dust and fork seal, then take a seal saver or similar thin rigid plastic to pull out...

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Replacing a radiator in my backup crawler. Pretty impressive specs really… 40s up front and rear 52s filled with water (you know, like a comp. rig), 55* steering, front portals, locking diffs, cutting brakes. 🤘

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

Greg wasn’t bluffing, we got a “home edition” of this thread. 😂🤘

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

Dammit, Stratton…🤔 I figure myself or one of the bros will load it up once or twice a year. He’s not going through a whole lot. 😂

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

4x4 stuff is cool and all, but when my 80 year old Dad can no longer lift bags of chicken feed and needs a grain dispenser, all other projects go on hold. 😂 The end result could certainly be fancier, but nearly all the materials were already here in the shop. 🤷‍♂️

Boo! …more home renovations please. 🤘😉

General Tech What did you work on Today?

It doubtful that the manufacturer would share their destructive testing data with you, but if they did you’d just throw that sucker back in and keep doing your thing. Sure, get a replacement coming and swap out when convenient, but this isn’t as catastrophic as one may think.

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Yeah, I keep a log and all receipts/docs to pass along. I know at what point my display failed and take the miles/hours from that point into consideration. The point being that I could theoretically withhold this info from a potential buyer, and sell after putting just a small amount of...

General Tech What did you work on Today?

This is part “what did you work on today” and part PSA (I figure more will probably see it here than in the Moto/ATV/UTV forum). Anyway, I finally got around to replacing the digital display unit on my ‘19 Husky TE, after it got water trapped inside and went haywire. Even though this bike only...

Not trying to put more on your plate, but a 12v linear actuator would be pretty sweet for on-the-fly angle changes of your lighting. 🤘

Pirtek in SLC or Lehi can do it. They built all my braided rear steer lines and supplied the AN fittings.

    Retaining wall / garage build

Everyone ‘should’ be able to build a shop on their property if they choose, but the reality is that even the most generous HOA reps and neighbors (even if claiming to be supportive) will want to keep this from happening. If you were able to get approval and build, any neighbor sensitive to...
