    Let's talk dirtbike tires

It's true, I soak my gear before every ride. :) I like front bibs and rear ultra HD rear tubes. Although I've had good luck for the most part, I'm going to a rear bib as well. If you're light they last quite a bit longer too.

    Let's talk dirtbike tires

Sorry man, you'll wanna source them elsewhere if you're ready right now, as the relationship hasn't been established with Golden Tyre yet. I'm gonna run one on a bike I've got coming, but I may need to do the same.

    Let's talk dirtbike tires

I rode a Husky 300 last month with a gummy rear (knobby pattern) @ Woodland and the traction was unreal. Helping out was a bib mousse inside with 15 evenly spaced 1/2" holes bored through it side to side to reduce the simulated pressure. Regardless of running a tube or bib, that tire itself is...

The Tubliss folks now offer a bib that has a more "tube-like" feel and is supposed to last longer than the competition. Just read a review in either Dirt Bike or Dirt Rider.

    Chainsaws...which one

Here's my ms201tc-m with a 14" bar, and this thing rips! I agree with most that an old ms200 is superior in ways, good ones are just too difficult to find. As you can imagine, they're commonly used as climbing saws, so a lot get dropped from trees and/or abused by laborers. Now that they're...

DRZ will not idle after storage

Greg, I've never had a dirtbike carb in need of the 'ol Pinesol treatment. However, I've got an old quadrajet that's alomost ready to set down on a new V8. I'm thinking about trying it out, what do ya think?

    The upcoming moto ride/quick report.

You guys covered a lot of ground today! I'm gonna start taking fuel bottles when riding with you two. It was exactly a year ago we ended up in Walsburg and pavement poached Provo Canyon with zero fuel left when we got to the trucks. :)

FWIW, went Friday and cleared 157 north of the 038 turn off, above Forest Lake, and as far north as the 037 turn off. Also fixed some "creativity" that comes along with the bigger blockages. If anyone goes further north than this (like to the northern most switchbacks or overlook to Snowbird)...

Cool! I like how they incorporated the gopro accessories/mounting into their design, very smart.

I know, right? 037 is the neglected child of the AF Canyon system.

    The upcoming moto ride/quick report.

I rode 2 miles of 037 until it meets 038, but I had to stop about a dozen times to deal with this. Lots of big trees down this year, most of them were waist and chest high.
