Back in January, I was seriously considering a dually 7.3 gas Ford or the Chev with the gas 6.6, but couldn’t wait the 9-10 month wait on a special order. Let us know how it does towing your Jeep. 🤘

To be clear, you can certainly own a past or present diesel that is great (or can be turned into something great). Better hold onto the diesel you’ve got unless ready to embrace the new gas rigs like Hickeys.

Making progress on a removable aluminum fairing for the top of the headache rack on the tow rig. Not sure it’s worth the time/effort just to keep bugs off the utv (since it sits pretty high above the cab), but I’m doing it anyway. Also, I’ve got an extra pair of fancy Summit Machine tierods...

Finally got around to having my ramp mods, tie-down mounts, and flatbed finished off with bed liner. I’ll just be finishing my ramp/sideboards (shown in a previous post) with paint for easy future touch-ups.

With the exception of painting the steel ramps and maybe a mild polish or sanding of the aluminum, these suckers are finally done. Also, some bed liner will be applied to the deck and around areas where parts were welded to the rear of the bed. A buddy that does liners will handle that.
