Northern Utah Anyone wanna show me a few trails this week?

From what I understood about the Deep Creeks, the roads they opened were just those that lead up to a few canyons/peaks without any major areas for wheeling. I'm pretty sure that was the trade - continued access to those if all other trails (they were concerned about off highway damage) were...

Northern Utah Anyone wanna show me a few trails this week?

I'll go along with whatever. The harder the trail the more help I might need though, Trooper isn't as built as your rigs. As for distance, my Trooper has been sucking the gas lately, though I'm hoping to give him a once over before we'd go. If not, meh, gas is gas.

Right incentive.... A cold coke and the chance to get some dirt on your rig?

Northern Utah Anyone wanna show me a few trails this week?

My wife is flying back Saturday evening. I'd say let's do something, but she's spending the week back east with her folks - her father was just diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor last week, so I doubt she'll be up for much more than staying home. Chick flicks in my future. I'm not afraid...

Are There Any Wheeling Spot's Left In The Valley?

a few shots of skull valley and lone rock I don't have too many shots, didn't take my camera. Here's a few cell phone shots. It's a fun place, desert, rock, some climbing can be done, and mud if it's been rainy. Rest assured you can bury your rig if you want. And note to self... Never ever...

My father-in-law went the hospital last night. CT picked up possible tumors on brain and lungs.... Sucks. I'm gonna stick around with the wifey tomorrow. One of these days I'll get out and learn from all of you!

Are There Any Wheeling Spot's Left In The Valley?

No, not Indian land, as far as I know. I've been going there with my dad since I was a kid. Just take the Delle/Iosepa exit and go south. The area around Lone Rock is fair game, as is a bit farther south at the "Skull Valley Off Road Camp Area" just down and across the road from Horseshoe...

Are There Any Wheeling Spot's Left In The Valley?

You could always go out to Skull Valley/Lone Rock area. It's BLM land, there are trails all over, though it gets interesting when it is wet/rainy. I was out there today and had a lot of fun, I'll try to get some pics up. A little bit of everything there, really.

Northern Utah Mineral Basin on Thursday morning, Sept 5th (that's tomorrow)

I wish I could have, but a buddy and I went shooting out near Lone Rock (Skull Valley) and found some fun trails and a bit-o-mud. Nothing major, but still fun. I've never done anything in AF Canyon, even though I've lived in the area for a while and had rigs that were capable... I'd love to...

Hi all! New to the forum.

I'm originally from Idaho, more recently down in Provo for a number of years -- but didn't have a rig. Wife and I have been in Layton for about 3 years now, and Miyagi (his nickname) has been with us for just over a year. I'm an assistant scoutmaster, and the wife didn't like me bringing her...

Hi all! New to the forum.

Hey guys. I've followed the forum a while, but now that I've a bit more time on my hands and am wheeling a bit more, figured I'd jump in! I have a 1992 Trooper 3.2L, 5-speed manual, G80 LSD rear, Isuzu 16x7.5" snowflakes wrapped with 265/75 TreadWright Guard Dogs. He's my baby. Hoping to...

AF Canyon for a beginner.... Where to go and what to see.

@spacecase - we'd love to provide a reason for you to test out all your new additions.. ;) @zokeypr - yeah, not really wanting body damage on my first trip up AF... That would def put a damper on things @bobn - happy to be here. Lovin' the snowflakes. Really pulls it all together...
