    Replace carrier or use it

The little bit of wear on that carrier isn't going to cause any vibration, especially how slow they rotate. Is that an old ten bolt? I'd replace the axle before I put a new carrier into it.

Withdraw the Proposed Seasonal Burn Ban (R307-302)

The way I read it, the ban includes Tooele county. But you're rich, what's $300 a day anyway? http://www.deq.utah.gov/Topics/Air/woodburning/rules.htm Personally, I'm all for the ban. I converted both my fireplaces to natural gas years ago, I don't miss the hassles with wood burning one bit.

WTB AMC 20 wide track axle

Why cant you un-spin the center section? I've done it to a few 20's, usually in the campground after a day in Moab. A jack and pipe wrench usually does the job. Align the pinion where you need it, and weld her up. No need to even remove the axle. Then truss it for a little insurance.

    FREE: Two different countertops

I have a couple countertops from some remodeling projects around here. One is a fake oak look, that one is roughly 11' long. It has a sink cut out in it, and I had to cut the top in two pieces to remove it. One is a burgundy color, and trimmed in oak. That one is roughly 8' long. Come get em...

    Fireplace code experts please advise

I can't help you on the code issues, but I did install a couple in my house. I installed mine for emergency heat, and I think that's the best use of these fireplaces. Keep in mind, they still require ventilation to keep from killing yourself. Also, they will put off a small amount of smoke...

    Quick Removable Jeep Windshield

Way back there was an after market hinge with removable pin on the market, so yes the concept works. I would highly suggest making a pin out of stainless steel. The ones I've dealt with in the past were very hard to remove due to rust. I think stainless, and some anti-seize might cure that.

    Pet Peeve about trailers

My car hauler hasn't been licensed in the 25 years I've been dragging it around. I've even had some interaction with UHP in my travels, with a Jeep on it, and the issue was never brought up. On the flip side, I do license my large enclosed. That one is just begging for a ticket if I don't...

    JK Lift Options

I'm running the Tera 4" with 37's. Still on the weak stock drivelines, but I'm looking at replacing them soon as they're on their last leg. You could easily run 35's on a 2" lift without issues. Stepping up to a 37 takes a lot more work/money.
