Dammit, I hate agreeing with Wayne:p Keep the 60, chop the spindles off, weld on some bearing pockets, get some weld on caliper brackets and gm/caddy calipers, and call it good (boy that [I]sounds[I] easy) But go 35 spline when you do!!!! and 5 on 5.5. Get some wide flares and bump the width...

Which bearings are you using? (one piece or bearind/race seperate) Big or small bearing housing? Be careful when you pull the shaft and try to determine if it is leaking through the bearing, or around it....

I suspect the tube is too heavy, and just no way to control the "rebending" well enough to get it straight....ever try to sraighten a coat hanger? Straighten the tube doesn't really work to well, ussually just easier/cheaper to re-tube. There is a little that can be done to try to help fix a housing, but only minor re-truing can be done.... Ben may be set up to retube, maybe tera plus, not sure....

Hmmmm, mine may be different (OBS) but I have only replaced it once in 5 years. I replace the XJ about once a year.... I wonder if the off brand ones are as bad as they were for the 4.0's?? I got 3 bad 4.0 cps in row from Autozone. But$16 for a spare is:cool:

I have Fox CO's on my Bronco, no problems at all. When I got them a couple things that made me choose Fox....Better price, I like the lower coil retainer better, easier to revalve at home....

Both should be 4 pin, 60 being the bigger diameter. some sockets have the pins sticking out the end, others have them inside the socket....I prefer the second type, easier to use.... All those others are for frt wheel drive cars, gm and sterling rear ends, and other stuff.... Edit, go steall...
