What do I get for the next bike?

No, just a friendly dig to those who insist on having non-hydraulic clutches. You know, Japanese bikes. :)

    2008 KTM 250 XCF-W

Lots of varibles, but I've done a 70 mile loop at a good "race pace" with the stock tank, but barely made it.

    2008 KTM 250 XCF-W

I'm about 6' tall, but a lightweight at under 160#. I rode a 450 for years, but the 250 has been a much better fit.

What do I get for the next bike?

That would be cool! I wouldn't hesitate for a second selling this one to a friend. I may be kicking myself later, but after having my last 2 KTMs with open chamber forks and PDS, I'd like to try close chamber and linkage. The pros and cons of each will probably cancel each other out, but only...

What do I get for the next bike?

I may be giving someone else a chance to be "sponsed" by Redbull, as I'm probably gonna sell the bike this year sometime. Who knows, I may end up with a Six Days edition this time and be sponsed again! Yesssss! ;)

Before selling, we should organize another RME ride. One of the best trips I've been on in the past couple years was with about 7 or 8 other RME guys last year in Moab. I think you'd be able to make a better decision after a good trip out riding.

    Golden Tyres

The guys in the northwest and Canada run a tire that sounds similar to this, and they're made out of rubber from an actual rubber tree. I can't remember what the brand was, but I'll find out and post it up.

    Yellow stone blowing up

Just make sure your snorkel is lava temp. rated. Tires? don't worry about it, just focus on the snorkel and you'll be fine.

BITD Laughlin Hare Scramble race report and footage...

Zero complaints here... There were plenty of DNF's, a guy with a broken collar bone, and the 3rd place finishers in our class were in 1st place until they had to limp the last 15 miles using only 2nd and 3rd gear in a broken tranny.
