Tell him to bring you to BHR next time he visits. If you like the hand-held plasma cutter, you'll dig the computer controlled version. We'll cut you out some gay rainbows or unicorns (kinda disturbing, but its been done before...). :p
If you want/need a lower gearset than 5.13 or a highpinion diff, you're gonna need the D60.
However, 5.13's aren't bad and I'm not big on rev. cut D60's in the rear. Just run a rear Hi-9.:greg:
For your project, a 14 bolt would be great!
This is an excellent statement. But just to be clear, Braden's intention is not to concern those of you that currently run the common 3-link front suspension design, or predict any sort of eventual failure.
If not built properly, you run the risk of "axle location" failure of some kind...
Yeah Ron, these guys will do a good job of recommending ways to properly complete your project. Its great they are willing to make the trip out there!
Well Spence, thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it. However, what is done is done.
In all fairness, I do need to take responsibility for several things regarding the statement in my last post...
First of all, it was my choice to originally get involved with Seth. I also chose to...
Awww, you could never be just plain ole boring Tara... :) I must have been abusing prescription drugs or maybe its my early onset of alzeheimers.
wait...wait... I think she might just buy that.
I have made it a point to not get involved in this thread unless it falls under the following criteria:
(1) To correct any misunderstood facts involving myself during my ownership of RockLogic4x4, the sale of the business in Sep. '05, or my brief employment w/ Hammon Motorsports (DBA...
I have no experience towing with the 8.1L GM equipped vehicles, so I won't speculate as to what is better.
However, if you are willing to buy an '04 Ford with the 6.0L, why not go just 1 year older and get an early '03 with the 7.3L? The 6.0L PSD has a horrible track record for reliability...
Oh, so this isn't about Braden's birthday after all? :p
To answer your question (and a pretty common one at that), everything functions exactly the way it did before. You're just missing that one "ingredient" in the mix. ;)
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... huh, what?
Sorry for the late reply, but I would have told you to do the same thing Carl mentioned.
We buy ours through 'ol Jake, so give him a call if you haven't already. :D
Welcome back Redd... but holy crap! Is Blue Torch going to be able to get that KOH rig done in time? There is still alot of work left to do on that thing.
Sorry for the "highjack" all... :D
