I can't remember why I saved this pic. I don't even know who took the pic originally or why, but here's the subject of interest... :p

    T-Giving Point UVSC Auto Show/Expo!!!

OK, so maybe the "powers that be" can make this into a "sticky". :) Anyway, RME's own Bart Jacobs has gone to great lengths to make this annual event happen, and it is my hope that he jumps in here to add any info/details I happen to miss. WHEN: Saturday, May 17 WHERE: Thanksgiving Point...

Good eye. First, the hood slopes more than a typical TJ due to the tub having a 1" body lift, yet the grille was left at stock height. This additional slope makes for better visability. Due to additional slope of the hood, the choice was made to have the fenders follow the same lines.

Update (continued) A couple pics of the cage progress... The front section is a "through the dash design" and all tubes going to the floor and rear wheelwells are tied into the frame.

Update (continued) Here is a front view showing the high-clearance fenders/cut hood. Like most 4x4 owners, Greg's goal has always been to run a relatively large tire (40", in this case), very limited lift, yet retain as much up-travel as possible.

Not a "4x4", but cool anyway...

For those of you interested in how the rig did in it's first event, I've received a small amount of info... Of course, when they guys get back to the shop on Monday, we'll get the full story. Anyway, they finished 3rd in their class (overall is unknown at this time). I guess they had some...

Not a "4x4", but cool anyway...

Due to the very limited time before the start of the season, the buggy pictured here is a used/previously raced unit built by Jimco out of CA. (with a few changes made by BHR). Here are some of the specs: Wiks Racing 250 HP Honda V-Tech engine (Class 10 can only have a 4 cyl.) Fortin...

Not a "4x4", but cool anyway...

Thats a good question... To be on the safe side of things, you can simply replace many of the "moving" components regardless of wear after every race, but that gets real expensive and most would think it to be unnecessary (but I'm sure plenty of people do it). Basically, you have to...

    Early Christmas present for Me!

Congrats on your finish, man! I don't blame you at all for running a Honda, as they are still the "top dog" in Baja. Did you guys pay for Honda support? Anyway, I was testing the bike in St. George last weekend and was really impressed, making me even more excited for Parker. I'll be sure to...
