Ya know, noise from vibration and the inner-workings are one thing, but you could outfit the exhaust with a muffler. Think small cc dirtbike technology... :)

If it were me, I'd choose the Solid brand knuckles over Dedenbear (now Reid Racing) or Crane. Tacoma is right, they aren't cheap when you include the keyed arms and hardware, but they're worth the extra $.

Yup, I fully agree with Zombie. However, I remember being really young and my Dad taking Me around for rides in the neighborhood the same way you've described. Also, I would bet that sooner or later someone would attempt to turn you in for "reckless endangerment of a child".
