suggestions for scout camp out Utah County

North and South Willow canyons in the Stansbury range (south west of Grantsville) is good for scouts. In the summer I used to take my scouts up to the Uintas off the mirror lake highway and hike into the lakes around Trial lake.

    Used Oil & Antifreeze Recycling?

For oil you can drop it off at most oil changing places or parts stores. Anti freeze is accepted at 4646 South 500 West (they also take oil). This is a government building and you need to go inside and fill out a small form then they will let you go back and drop it off.

    Crazy Dugway adventure

Yeah, I keep reminding the family about how many times the stash has saved them when they tease me about all of the stuff in the basement. I was really glad so many folks were so willing to help and that the jeep broke down where it did rather than at the old mines in the mountains where we...

    Crazy Dugway adventure

My son and I decided to go out yesterday and do some rockhounding and wheeling out on the Dugway range. We first started at the geode beds and after digging up a bunch we went wheeling up to some of the old mines in the area. We also hit some of the side trails on the way back along the pony...

Any 12V electrical guru's here? An E.E. mabey!

As I read the schematic the TPD acts like a switch that is normally closed which shorts the diode anode to ground. When the TPD is closed there is current that flows through the resistor but not the diode. When it overheats the TPD will open up allowing the current to flow through the diode...

    yj wrangler electrical ? (help)

I think both share the same fuse. I would look for any splices that someone may have done for trailer wires or other aftermarket stuff that needs a tail light feed. I have fixed several where they spliced into the tail lights only to have salt and mud eat away the splice allowing it to short out.

Brett, I am back in town now and I have the horn parts you need, the boot, mirror brackets and gauges. I can help with any electrical issues (if you want help). Your guages may be fine it could just be the wiring. I could tell you really quick with my volt/ohm meter.

I have a tranny boot that should work for you and some CJ mirror parts. Did the backup switch fit ? or do I need to look deeper into the parts pile?

    Extreme Scrambler Makeover

"It's getting 12 psi at the throttle body." 12 psi seems a bit too low. When I have measured fuel injection systems the pressure is more like 40 psi. I haven't played around with a GM throttle body setup however so I could be wrong. My guess is that the injectors are gummed up from sitting...
