Forest Lake has gotten worse in the last two seasons due to runoff carving out the trail. Also, it'll be nice and muddy on Saturday.

In addition to our efforts to work with the SL BLM, the state is trying to collect an inventory of all trails or possible trails. The idea is to setup the infrastructure to defend these roads in the future.

Exactly right. Every FS unit and BLM field office will be reviewing and revising their travel plans in the next two years. We will definitely lose some trails in the process. How much we lose depends on how active people get.
