Right on... we're glad ya like it. A true long arm setup w/ coilovers definitely makes for a sweet rig. The narrowed D60 worked out nice as well. I'll be sure to point out this thread to the the rest of the guys at the shop. :)

Back when I worked for RRO in Heber, we had a Sami with the same non-computer controlled 1.9L VW diesel (which also came from Canada). Not sure what became of the rig, but at the time was pretty cool...

From what I've seen, they end up being really expensive spools. Most owners get tired of them not engaging and disengaging, so they usually end up leaving them locked in.

Got Rocks 4x4 is not a shop. They are however, a group of marketing savvy, DVD producing, entertainment/event organizing (and who knows what else) guys that you'll see alot of around anything 4x4 related. Definitely good guys to have involved with Supercrawl.

OK, so it's not a TJ, but more of the Jeep guys should consider this swap... Naturally, there would be more involved in a TJ application, but no more so than swapping in many of the other axles mentioned. It definitely has the advantage of a non-cast center section. :cool: Also, gear/locker...
