It is interesting to me that a rig w/ D44s, front and rear lockers and sway bar disconnect gets dissed by so many. Other than coming that way stock instead of being 'built', why is that?

I have seen ones like that, sounds cool. Would need to have a reciever as well so I could still tow with it. But the biggest concern I would have is that it would further complicate departure angle. Reciever drags sometimes as it is.

Would be cool....if only it would turn out to be true. I did read last year sometime that International is one of the leading companies for the military replacement for the Hummer. We may see them back in the 4wd business one way or another.

Does seem very odd they would go to the extent of revoking registration over any of this. I think we all know that a vehicle isn't required to meet safety/street legal requirements only at the exact moment of inspection, but a 'fix it' ticket seems far more reasonable than revoking...
