Real Miller Motorsport Park Off Road pricing

anyone have a feel for what level(s) of vehicles they have routes for? My understanding is not all of it was going to be buggy level, but don't know. Hope I can sneak out after soccer games that morning and check it out.

    Local Trails (SLC vicinity)

The Delta area is within the 100 miles (give or take a little) and as mentioned Logan is well with in the 100 miles.

    Crawling park at Miller MSP?

Thanks for the link. I never wander into the vendor forum. From the article in the paper, they very much made it sound like it will be open to the public. They talked about it being 'closer than Moab' etc etc. Also potential future club days and training courses with rental Jeeps. It...

    Crawling park at Miller MSP?

I have read a little in our Tooele County paper about a rock crawling area being built at the Miller Motorsports Park. Anyone familiar with it or have details?

    "mix and match" dream rig?

You must be going for the commie version. Isn't the car a GREMLIN?

    "mix and match" dream rig?

In a discussion about diesel tow rigs, someone said their dream truck would have the 'drive train of a Dodge, interior of a Ford and ride of a Chevy with the looks of none of them'. That got me thinking, if we could mix and match parts (which of course many on here do anyway) and feautes of...

    Thoughts on Liberty

OK, not being patriotic here. I am thinking vehicles. As I toss vehicle options around, trying to get good trail rig a well as daily driver for my 85 miles a day, thought came to be about the diesel Liberty. The ideal would be to sell my Montero, use that cash on a trail rig (LC, GC etc) and...

Looks like the Grand Cherokee as we know it is going away.

Compared to now? We all know how few Jeeps and Rovers hit the trail. So long as they keep making a true trail rig (JK), then if some softening of the others helps keep Jeep afloat, I have not problem with it. They can not survive as a company just by selling to the off-road crowd. I feel...

    Need Expedition planning/estimating help...

Hope the plan and trip goes well. My main thoughts are to pick the trail carefully, recognizing the skill limitations of the drivers. Plenty of great back country to enjoy without getting into unsafe drving for new drivers. And enjoy RME. Lots of helpful people here!

    Need Expedition planning/estimating help...

Always entertaining to come into testy little discussions. A few "facts" that never came up, but that I wonder about, include: 1) area and type (esp difficulty) of trails to be run. 2) off-road experience of the guide compared to those trails 3) experince of the clients 4) business...

    anyone know this rig?

As far as you know, quality work done? Don't want to buy something that was poorly built, but a built Cruiser would make a great family wheeling rig. Any idea how well cared for it was?

    anyone know this rig?

Saw this Land Cruiser on craigslist. Anyone know any thing about it? If so, please share the good, the bad and the ugly. PM if you are hesitant to share publically. http://saltlakecity.craigslist.org/car/776172130.html

    Diesel care basics

I have the auto. I really don't want to do mods if at all possible. I don't feel the need to top Parley's at 90 while hauling the horses, so I think I am fine power-wise. I am excited, however to start towing and see just how much better it does than the Yukon! Thanks for the tips.

    Diesel care basics

Thanks thus far. Most of my towing is going to be a 22' boat, nothing that I needed the diesel for (the Yukon XL did that job fine, although worked hard on the climb for Parley's to East Canyon). The boad and equipment is probably in the 5,500 pounds range. For Lake Powell the total load in...

    Diesel care basics

I bought an 05 Ram 2500 CTD over the weekend. Has 51k miles on it at this point. As this is my first diesel, I would appreciate tips on care for it, anything I should do that is different than what I am used to with gas-powered vehicles.

    Moab trail suggestions

Thanks for the suggestions thus far. I figured that Gimini Bridges and Bull Canyon would be a fun trip out with my family (who do not like wheeling), so hope to hit them. A 3-4 hour difficult run would be something else.

    Moab trail suggestions

I was wondering if I could get some suggestions for shorter Moab trails. Something challenging, but with in my rigs capability. When I head down for a conference in June, want to sneak in a part day trip (I have several other days of fun in the area planned as well). I will be in the...
