A semi-float 14 is not going to gain you much over your 12 bolt. There is a lot of race stuff in Jegs/Summit for a 12B. Get the c-clip elim kit and some alloy axles for it. You could also have a shop put 9" still pockets on the 12B and have shafts made.

A4OD is somewhat electronic, but there are harness to make it work in any rig. Yes it will bolt up (as long as it is from a W block). There is alot of info on the net about the A4OD's....give google a try.

Go to the store and look at it....It is in the axle guide section.... ;)

Trying to put my current (old style) wheel hubs and spindles on a SD frt axle. Dynatrac makes a kit, but it cost more than a used 60 would!!

Oh Kincade.....Where are you?? Kincade on here is the most knowledgable about this....Yes you can put a 700r in it. Aod/a4od also. Ford trannies take more to build strong, but the 700 requires adapters.

Anyone have the hubs off of there frt 60? I need a measurement. I need to know how much of the stub/spline sticks out of the end of the spindle? Ford/Chevy should be the same. I am finally trying to make these adapters :D Thanks

It's been there over a month, I keep telling people to go get it, but.... Glad someone is going to put it to good use. :)

Howells on 2nd South just west of West Temple is about it in SLC. But ussually it is best to send them to the manufacture for service....
