Attn Ocnorb: Tell us about your hydro bender setup

I put together a rough example of the parts needed and pricing. Here is a pump that will work for $89. Item #10563 3000 PSI runs off pulley...

Power steering pump only makes about 150 psi. Here's a good link on how to figure it all out in case anybody is interested. http://www.northernhydraulics.net/ws/aboutus2.0.php?page_id=3655

Are the new arms set up to accept the drag link seperately? (Two holes on the passenger side?) I have a YJ with the chevy TRE's and the pitman arm link ties into the tie rod. It works fine, but I would like to flat top the knuckles and use plates to make the pitman link attach to the knuckle...

    Rattle/Con. signs... Go Time...

I am ashamed to admit to having THREE 4x4's that are fairly capable, but two aren't liscenced and the one that is needs a major overhaul. (We're talking ground up. New axles , new motor, new roll cage and a ton of body work. Did I really wheel this rig in the spring and if so, how??? I don't...

The signs are completed as far as I know. 1. I welded the 3/8" plate that Hickey brought over to the back- It's hard to see in the pictures I guess. 2. The paint is done on the front. http://www.rockymountainextreme.com/showthread.php?t=6767&page=2 Mbryson- I will be home on...

Attn Ocnorb: Tell us about your hydro bender setup

I must admit that I lucked out- I looked everywhere for a cheap pump. I told my Dad what I was doing and he said " I think I have one of those in my storage shed." I love my Dad - he has some great junk. (Treasures) Ebay or NPS maybe? I actually saw a snowplow at Pick-nPull with a good pump...

Here's the other side. You can see it is on wheels so I can put it in the corner when I'm not using it. The wheels also make it so you can do longer pieces without running into your garage walls.

I used a scrap I-beam to mount the ram because I figured it would not flex- and it doesn't. Here is a side shot. The hoses are old ones that were with the motor and pump, so I coiled up the excess. I am into this hydro less than $100 total.

Here are a few pics tahat I found of my setup. Here is the motor and reservoir assembly. It began life as part of a 'liftgate' on a delivery truck.

I guess it depends on how tall we want the sign to be. I figure we need at least 3 ft in the ground??

Hey, I don't have time for details right now. I just noticed this post. i've been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. I need to post the pics of the signs and while I'm at it I will throw some in on the bender. The pump is a 12 volt job and will work great with a battery and...

Bored, waiting for this to cool off to paint.

New traction bar for the missus Jeep. I hope she can't rip this one apart like she did the last one. (At the mounts) :(
