Is it an open knuckle axle? If so, get the calipers/brackets/spindles/hoses from a late 70's-early 80"s chev 1/2 ton 4x4, and the frt hub/rotors/bearings from a 76-86 Ford 1/2 ton and put it all together. check broncofix.com for a complete list of parts.

With a 6" drop pitman, I would look at the uni-frame around the steering box. It could be cracked. Have someone turn the wheel back and forth while you watch to see whats moving and whats not....should show up preety easy with that much play.

Might as well use a 10 bolt :rolleyes: Stik with the 8.25, she'll be fine....Long arms are a good idea though, it makes DD much nicer!!

Talk to Wade or Kevin at the 6states down there. Kevin is the best gear guy around. He taught me....

I'd suggest taking it to Six States or Rocklogic. Should cost you too much.
