What's dumb is, I have a belt/ bench sander.

Time will tell if I can avoid spending $180 for a new spring, spur and ratchet gear. My prediction is yes. This seems to work great with some test kicks.

Out with the old. In with the new. It actually had HIDs in it before... But stock (ruined) housings. These new ones are LED projectors. Can't wait to test them! Spent a few hours cleaning this thing.

Make sure you do it slow. There are plenty of videos. Or buy a case half. I've got a case splitter you can borrow either way.

So this 01 had some weird issue where the kickstarter would slip like 1 in 4 kicks. Pulled it apart and found some rounding wear on the spur and ratchet gear. The teeth didn't quite mesh perfectly. So I slowly took a few thousands off. I got them fully meshed and reassembled to test it...

I've owned 4 YZ250's and 4 YZ125's ........ The plot thickens.

I'll find out soon! I'm currently doing some tune up stuff and sourcing some missing evap stuff so I can plate it.

I'd totally own one if it had 50 more CC's and a hydraulic clutch and a bigger gas tank and better brakes and electric start and a headlight. And came stock with handguards. And an air filter that I could change without tools. And Billet triple clamps. And an odometer and a speedometer.

It's just paint, but yeahhhhhh. I've got new headlights and taillights due to arrive by Friday. Thanks. Andy (Busted Jeep) hooked me up with another ProComp streetlock that matches the set with a 33" that actually is the same pattern as the fronts. (The 2 spares are currently older BFG KM1s).

Yeah. ATF is a detergent and prevents foaming, I think it works by lowering surface tension.
