Putting a new deck on a trailer?

Mine's Redwood. Installed it about 10 years ago, and it still looks new. Back then it cost me $100 more than a pine deck, but Redwood prices have soared since then.

    Maxxis CreepY Crawlers

I buy my tires, so I can say it how it is..... ;) Does Maxis even make a 37X15? I thought you had to step up to the 16's to get the 37's.

TJ Tiebar Rodend Rubs Swaybar Disconnect

Ah, mucho better. Drag link is hitting, not tie rod. Again. Badger nailed it, you need a dropped pitman. Also, rolling your pinion angle down will help.

TJ Tiebar Rodend Rubs Swaybar Disconnect

4.5" lift, and no dropped arm? I think Badger nailed it.

    Long Arms vs Std

I'd go the extra coin, and get the long arm. I installed a 5.5 RE kit on my LJ. You're right installation is a major PITA, and so's the extra cash, but mine rides as good if not better than it did in stock form. I'm thinking with the longer wheelbase, you may go higher in the future. Oh, one...

    will i lose speed?

I'm not really sure if you're asking about speed or power. For what it's worth, when I dualed my Yota, I did notice a power loss on the street.

    All TH400's the same?

For what it's worth, my TH350 conversion was out of a 2WD. The 2WD trans requires you to replace the output shaft with a 4X4 unit. I believe the TH400 is this way as well. Changing the output requires complete disassembly of the transmission, so you may as well rebuild it. Don't sweat it...

    Greg's 1987 Toyota 4Runner

Yeah, we used to spend the week after Labor Day in that area. If that's the hole I'm thinking of. I was lined up about like you are and boogered up the left quarter and tail light. Then the right front slipped off the ledge, and caved in the passenger door. That was two years ago though. And it...

    Cutting breaks

Yes, if you don't have that ability they're pretty much worthless. If you're lincoln locked or spooled out back, same end result. If that's the case, a good park brake does the same thing. If you've got a detroit or selectable, they're great! If you want to get really trick, you should see...
