How much lift, tires, and what other suspension mods do you have?

I have a hobart and love it....but I think you are good with any of the major brands mentioned, and I'd add esab for yet another color option.... The off brands are harder to find consumable for. I would highly recommend a 220v machine if you can swing it.

Is this on the engine driven fan or the electric one? I assume the engine one.... Check your motor mnts, the motor torques up with twist thus moving the fan...OR I have also had the shaft on the fan pulley begin to pull itself out of the mnt....ie fan is closer to the radiator than normal...

IT IS worth the price....I did hack thing before you could buy reasonable harnesses. It is a PIA. I would not do it again. On the other hand, if you are sick and twisted and enjoy the satisfaction of doing it yourself....it is not that difficult. Just time consuming and frustrating!!!! BUT...

Get a few feet of chain, put one end on a stud, with a nut to hold it on, whip the chain a couple times, should come right off....BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!! to much whip can embed the hud in a forehead......
