You need to take it out and cross it up real good like in the photo (even a ramp or loading dock or something). Park it that way, then get under there...... If you have something going south, it should be obvious then. ;)

Oh, and remember to always have the Jeep steering wheel unlocked..... (yeah, I DID forget that once on the Sammy. Makes a lot of noise rounding corners) :D

A grand sounds about right. That's what it cost to get my Jeep from here to Mertle Beach. Are you getting Terminal to terminal prices? Door to door will run up the cost a bit, and most the auto shippers run out of north Salt Lake. If you're willing to drive down there to get it, it will save you...

The one on my Samuari is the same type. I did weld mine where the "adjustable" points were though, to beef it up a bit. Works great for the lil Sammy, should be fine on a CJ as well.

I noticed that as well. Carl has a cheap and easy fix for that..... ;) Also, I see hydraulic assist, and high steer in your future (the best money you'll spend).

Another item to look at is the body mounts. From what I can see in the pic, even the rocker guard is drooping slightly. I'd have to guess the body is still strucurally sound and staying straight, and the frame is dropping away from it. Either way, you have a problem. Mine has been crossed up way...

If you want to run it down the street a block or two, I'll show ya all I know (ther goes three minutes).... Plus, I have a couple bling interior items you're welcome too that never quite made their way into it before the give away.

I had 4" straight pipe on my 85 ATS equiped oil burner. The turbo will quiet it down a lot. Normal driving, it's a pleasent "Flowmaster" type sound. Towing a load up hill, more of a burned out "Glasspack" effect. I didn't mind it, but no body ever drove in the lane next to me for some reason. :D

Sweet work!!! The only thing I can see that I'd be concernered about is pic 2. It'll see a lot of pressure, and I can't really see how it's attached, but straight is strong. If you have the room, gusset it to the frame.:)
