    Full Roll Cage

I have a buddy in Idaho Falls that just started a shop. Its called T.O.R. design. He is really good and really cheap. He has built a cage for an early Bronco that I thought was sweet. It has a halo over the back seat. But he can build about anything you want. He is REALLY good at...

    Les Schwab on Redwood blows

Just so the guys up north know.....the Schwab in Roy on main street is awesome! Go in and talk to Chris. You cant say that all the stores are bad because of one jerk. Thats like saying all 4-wheelers dont give a crap because I saw one littering and tearing up private property

    valve stem & beadlocks

This is what I did with mine but I got new short metal valve stems. Its a little tight on the front axle because of the hub but it works great. I just welded the stock holes up.

Anyone have advice or links for a triangulated 4 link front suspension?

The scout is mostly trail driven. The only time its on the street is in Moab between trails and such. I do want it to be somewhat road worthy though. There are a few pics on my progress thread under general 4x4 talk. I am running deaver coils from a 79 bronco. Steering is a scout box to a...

Anyone have advice or links for a triangulated 4 link front suspension?

Since I have screwed up my front suspension once all ready I want to make sure I do it right this time. I am considering doing a triangulated 4 link but I would like to learn as much as possible about it before I decide. My other option is a link setup with a panhard. I all ready have a...

Good Moab trail suggestions (mild wheeling)

I say Kane Creek as long as the weather is good. I think that trail is gorgous! If its raining......better think of another trail though. You cross the stream like 60 times. A few good little ledges that with a little skill I think stock rigs will make

    progess pics of my Scout.........Traveller

I need 4 BIG heims. Well I probably dont need them but I want 4 of the monster heims. I think they are 1 1/8" or 1 1/4" for the lower bars. The other 4 can be either 3/4 or 7/8

    progess pics of my Scout.........Traveller

I thought about doing a sort of wrist set up but Im gonna scrap the whole radius arm idea and build a link setup with heims on all ends. These radius arms will go underneath my buddys 76 bronco and we will build the stock c bushings into them. So at least they arent going to waste...

Well after 3 weeks of planning, cutting, and welding..........My radius arms dont work. They are binding dang near instantly when flexing. Apparantly Ford knew what they were doing when they used the C bushings on their radius arms. Looks like Im gonna chop em off and start over..... YEAH

what do you think about revolvers?

Ive been running them on the back of the Scout for a couple years and I love them. Ive never felt them unload on me....even when Im standing on my firewall......I personally think they work better on longer wheel base vehicles from my experience with them. I say if ya got um......run um and...
