    Body mount/lift material?

I use the rubber rollers for a boat trailer. You can get a 1' chunk that is 3" diameter with a whole in the center. All you need to do is cut it into pieces the size you need. Works great!! There is a boat store on 7200 S and State and one on 2100 S State.

Any shops re-drill axle bolt patterns in Utah?

Charles was the machinist at AFWD as well. He now rents space in DJ's to build axles.

Any shops re-drill axle bolt patterns in Utah?

Charles at Rocky Mountain Axle will do it, and a lot cheaper than a machine shop. His # is 808-2525. 1604 Jefferson St. In DJ's.

    Want your opinions

I really don't want to go that far, seen a lot of them done like that, I just want to pinch the nose. I like having the room between the seats, and my back end is already so cut up, narrowing it would not do much. Thanks all for the input!!!! Now I just have to convince Angie!!

    ford engine/tranny compatability

Nope, don't own and international, that was sarcasm towards you, all meant in fun. I do have one international part on the EB, the twin stick boot.

    Want your opinions

I am considering narrowing the fenders/hood/grill on my Bronco. I have seen pix of several and Rick W. just did his. I kinda of like the look, but I am not sure. My fenders are just skins and I need to build hangers for them either way, so all I really have to do is narrow the grill and cut the...

    Jeep Coil Spring Rates????

I was curious if anyone knew of a web site or something that listed the spring rates for stock xj/tj/zj coils. Trying to decide which coils to start with in the rear of my EB. I think I will start with 6cyl TJ frts, but I would like to compare the rates. TIA

Golley Gee we are all human. Nobody is perfect, sorry for trying to help, but looks like we all make mistakes. Like owning an International. SORRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY But, I sure don't need you to for give me. Man, I wish there was a smile/icon for sarcasm!!!!!!!

    full width

I was running mine with the shackles inverted, worked well. I can save the brackets and shackles I made if you want them. I had moved the frt/fixxed bracket higher on the frame to compensate for the ride hieght that would be gained if just inverting the shackle. Also, didn't hit it on rocks as much.

    full width

I am running a full width 9" rear and full width 60 frt in my EB. I run 8" rims with 38x12.50x15. It is wide, but I like it, not too bad, could be covered with the Gorilla flares or TJ flares. As for the 78/79 44's I think you may be confusing High Pinion with high clearance. Yes, 5-6" out...

    ford engine/tranny compatability

If you get a Ford 203, it will bolt right. You use the frt half of a 203 then an adapter plate to the 205. At that point you can either use a Ford or chev 205 depending on what frt offset you need. OffRoad Design and William Machine make the adapters. I don't have the contact info off hand, but...

    ford engine/tranny compatability

AllFord 205's are drivers side drop. Check the wrecking yards. Most 70's Fords are 205's. Just be sure not to get a divorced mount 205 or a 203. Although you could use a 203 to do a dual case.

    Leaf reliefs

You can have mine after I cut them off. They SUCK. I hated them, ended up having to put poly pushings back in the springs and put a poly bump stop on the out side of each rocker just to keep the axle from swinging all over the place. I assume you have an EB? If so, you can use YJ frt...

    ford engine/tranny compatability

That will work, very strong setup. I am worried about the length of that combo in a TJ. Probably ok if you are extending the wheelbase, but at stock wheelbase with any lift, the rear driveline would not work. As for the AOD, they do get a bad wrap, I thought about one, but to $$$$$ to make it...

    ford engine/tranny compatability

The c6 is not practically adaptable to your 302 if it was not originally behind a 302/351w. The bell housing is a completely different pattern, and unlike manual trans, most auto including the c6 do not have removeable bellhousings. You would need an entire c6 case from behind a 302/351w and...

    ford engine/tranny compatability

If the c-6 was behind a 302 or 351w it will work. If it was behind a 351c or m, 390, 400, or any big block, it will not match up to your 302.

    Spool 14 bolt?

I drove my Bronco dailly for 12+ years with a detriot in the rear, and either my wife or I drive the XJ daily with a detriot in the rear for 6+ years now. The driving habits you change for driving with a detriot are just natural to me now. The characteristics have never bothered me. My wife even...

    Please give advice

My condolences go to you and your family. I have been there. I lost my Dad 5 1/2 years ago. We had work on cars together my entire life. We started my Bronco project when I was 16, followed by his Bronco project. I was a great experience. He died in the middle of my first do it yourself motor...
