I am working on this for a guy. It is leaking gear oil into the wheel bearings. I have found the oil seal located inside the knuckle. I need to find the gasket located right behind the spindle. Also it says to use mos2 grease to pack the knuckle with. What is this stuff and where can I get it?

What are the things worth? It is really clean. Very little rust.

Does anybody out there know anything about these? I might be getting one a partial trade. I think it is a 1971. It has the little v-6 in it. Are they basically a cj with a different body? What about drivetrain? Thanks

Any good repair shop should be able to perform a leak down test and verify if you losing compresion from the valve or the rings. This is not the same as a compression test. The cylinders are compressed with air.

Sounds to me like it is time to start some sort of list on were/were not to take your stuff to be fixed.
