I can't wait to see this thing in the spring. Pretty sure the first time I will see it will be the RME BBQ and you better go wheeling with me even if that means I have to go on a mild trail to go wheeling with you.

By spring, either this'll be on 37s or he'll be driving a Civic. Just watch. ;)

Thanks, that link really helped. I'm going to do that.

This is my 3rd, 3rd gen. I knew it wouldn't get awesome mileage going into it. I sure love the rig though.

I took the 4runner camping this weekend. A few things I noticed:

1) this car is almost too clean to camp in. Fender jumped in with muddy paws and got mud all over the seats. I normally wouldn't care, but this rig is CLEAN

2) I don't fit in the back. I have no clue how Andrew sleeps in the back of his, but there's no way I fit.

3) I like sleeping in a tent

4) I can fit more stuff in the back of this rig than I thought I could.

5) I need to swap out those thirds soon.

That's weird I'm 5' 11" and and I love sleeping in the 4runner  One thing I found is a must have is my bed roll it really makes things nice and comfy.

Picture this, One time we pulled into our camp site as the sun was setting in a complete downpour of rain. My wife, me, my daughter (3 at the time) a Golden Retriever and a Husky all slept (and actually did sleep) in that 4runner  :ugh:

Anyway love the build its my 4runners doppelgänger without a doubt :D

I'm 6'4", and I almost fit in the back of mine, so you obviously need to sell this and buy a 1st gen.

Glad I could help.
