i say bob it but not very much maybe a couple inches and leave it hanging down instead of trimming it below the tail light. to get a better deproach angle in the rear and add some good covering bumpers.

I totally agree with not trimming it below the tail light, it just kills the body lines if it's trimmed (see mine for an example of how it kills the lines).

Yeah I love the rear look stock and I could only cut about 3in out my Chevy springs are freakin long and my shackles will probably hit before my bed.
Also bumper is in the works...

I don't think it's worth the hassle for 3". But it's your call. A good bumper will get you by just fine. I think you're right, your shackles will hang you up more than your bumper. But man are you going to have some mad flex in the rear.

the cage looks great.

my vote is no for the bob. There's something about a FULL bodied, built 1st Gen that is just awesome. With the 63" springs, you'll be hanging up on your shackles anyways. a couple inches of bumper really won't make a ton of difference unless you're competing and getting really hardcore, which I hope you don't do with your niiiiiice looking truck!

Check the flashers and make sure you dont have a short to ground or power sounds like a short to power, get your voltmeter out and voltage drop the wires by back probing the connecters and the relays. Electrical is a butt kicker but if you sit down and look at the circuits it getts a lot easier, if the bulbs are all the correct ones and the relays are all right then check the wires like i said earlier, or i can come over and help message me if you want help

You'll get your electrical problems figured out. I wonder if you pinched a wire when you put your bed back on. These trucks only have like 8 wires that lead behind the driver, should be relatively easy to track down (not that any electrical problems are ever "easy")
