that turned out REALLY good brandon, way to go man. You gotta be proud. (and your wife's gotta be happy that it's almost done). I don't think mine flexes that well in the rear.

i may be mistaken but i thought lifting the rear actually tested the front..

I heard there was a guy in Provo who specializes in toyota carbs. I have no other info, but maybe someone else knows. I'll bet Kurt at Cruiseroutfitters knows someone local who tunes them.

My mechanic in PG told me he's done a bunch of carb work before. He's really reasonable, too!

Ps, I have a weber carb sitting around if anyone's interested...

what problems are you having with your carb? Is it flooding or starving? Mine runs like a top, but my idle is REALLY high. It's so high that I can't go through a drive-thru because it's too loud hahaha.

its been stalling when I stop.. but it keeps running better and better the more I drive it. I took it on the freeway last night with my 4 speed tranny topped it out at around 60 ( Phone app as speedo to confirm) and it ran great.. I think the carb just needs to be ran it sat for like 3 years before I bought it

Check the flashers and make sure you dont have a short to ground or power sounds like a short to power, get your voltmeter out and voltage drop the wires by back probing the connecters and the relays. Electrical is a butt kicker but if you sit down and look at the circuits it getts a lot easier, if the bulbs are all the correct ones and the relays are all right then check the wires like i said earlier, or i can come over and help message me if you want help

I might need your skill with my dash the only thing that works is mph gauge, not working gas and temp.. I am afraid to over heat it so I want to get it fixed...
