yeah well when i bought it it had a tow kit ghetto rigged on it so thats what I think happenned... I didnt run my wires until the bed was back on.
But I think my plan is to take the wires off the truck and check them that way.
 
harnesses installed... roll cage welded in...

haha, mine had the same ghetto wiring. Mine even had "electric" door locks. It was a joke. Random wires spliced and running everywhere.
 
Well im glad you found it bad grounds are common and they can blow your fuses fast, i live one block from weber on 36th street, i will send you my phone number
 
I need to do the alignment, replace a power steering line, finish filling front diff with fluid, get battery strapped down... that's just before Saturday
 
Did you build your cage? If so, do you have more info on that. I did not see anything in your thread. If you did not, where did you get it and how was it putting it in?

I bought from a dude for next to nothing it was a home made setup it was a bolt in with sleeves to hold it. I welded the sleeves and added a harness bar bolted it to frame using body mounts I have pic I will post
 
The reason I trust his work is he had it in a truggy that he had rolled a couple times and it is still in on piece good enough for me....
 
saw the toyota I built years ago I am talking when I was in high school so like 7 years ago.. I struck my memory so I had to post it
I bought completely stock 106,000 miles for 3800$ in 2003

UpgradeSpecs: Procomp 4in drop bracket
New dupont Paint job
33in all-terrain
Euro tail lights ( look good with red paint)
Clear front coners and front blinkers
Chrome stripping, and grill
Tinted windows
CB with loud speaker in engine bay ( most used Mod)
I even threw the timeing chain and fouled the valves and rebuilt it
This truck was a breast stock gears and 33's and open diffs I ran Hells revenge, Golden Spike, Fins n things, Crane creek...


Sold it in 2005 for 4500$ with 115,000 on it
I have better pics I will have to post.
