Yes sir. We didn't remove the carpet, we just folded it back about a foot or so. It'll flop right in to place. I'm going to have a heck of a time getting the herculiner to dry in this climate tomorrow...

Do you have a regulator and just need a bottle? or do you need the whole setup?

It came with a regulator when I bought it, but it's long gone now. I'd need the entire setup. At this point, I'll just hold out for a big 220v welder someday.

Not many SANE people at least. I've done 5 or 6 now. It's getting easier, but it's still a slow process.

I can't remember. I just go to lowes and get a sheet that's about 12x24". It's pretty thin, but when it's all boxed in it gets tough.

I believe you got 22 gauge

The panels are so thin on 1st gens, you could use a pop can.....

Indeed. It's around the same thickness as the stock sheetmetal. When I'd burn through, it was always the toyota sheet metal that burned before the panel I put in.

I applied the Herculiner tonight. This stuff gets EVERYWHERE, and it stains your skin for a week or so. At these super low temps (31*) I hope it's able to dry ok. I've got one on my 4runner. Putting one on isn't real difficult. I think of it as cheap insurance, beat replacing a transmission.
