A touch stiff. The shocks desperately need to be charged. Know anyone that offers that service? I was impressed with how streetable it felt. I really want to build some fenders and register it.

It also has almost useless brakes. I've bled them twice, but there must be a lost more air in there because they barely work at all. I don't need to remove the ABS stuff, do I?

The ABS stuff is kind of a pain to bleed. I think I had to crack fittings from the master cyl., then to the motor, then to some junction valve/proportioning valve then bleed any fitting after that. Basically start high and work low. I used a LOT of fluid. You MAY be better off just junking that stuff and sticking in a dual diaphram WJ unit like the kewl XJ folk do?

:greg: that's it's up and going. When's the test run?

x2 psssst I have a WJ Dual Diaphram in my garage. I installed one on my old black xj, made a nice differance.

I would like to squeeze a small cat beside the transfer case to make it legal. Then I was thinking I might be able to fit the smallest Aero Turbine muffler in the driveshaft tunnel above the rear driveshaft.

Thats what I did Monkey and it worked out I never touch the muffler once

Oh man, I didn't want to have to change out the Master Cylinder. :( Although removing all the ABS stuff from under the hood might give me a place to mount my winch control box. I might try loosening some fittings up by the master cylinder first and see if I can get some more air out.

Thanks for the pic. While I built my drive shaft last weekend I noticed that there's no way a muffler is going to fit up there. At full compression the drive shaft is tucked way up in the tunnel. I'll have to figure something else out.

It's not too bad and it's almost a direct bolt in. I believe I have almost everything too.

I'll try to get a picture of my grand tonight. I'm running 3" exhaust, and I've never hit it, even airing out the suspension to the point of bending a shock bracket.

My 3" exhaust doesn't hit my triangulated 4 link either. I have a cat and a muffler too :D

I just wish I could fit a more mellow muffler.

There are some really small Magna Flow catalytic converters I've been looking at. They're 4" round, and only 8" long total. I need to take a really close look but I think I can fit that next to the transfer case. Then I found a Flomaster muffler that's only 3" thick, 8" wide, and 9.5" long. I think I might be able to tuck that up under the passenger right in front of the gas tank. The short test drive last night really got me excited to get this thing out on a trail. :)

Very nice and big congrats. BTW, I have a cat off the 5.3 I bought that I'd let go for cheap. It's pretty small.

I figured out that my passenger front brake bleeder was clogged. So when I tried to bleed it (twice) I didn't actually get anything out. That's why my brakes didn't work at all. I unclogged it and bled it again. They work now. I don't know how well, but I can tell it's at least eleventy billion times better than before. :)
