So on our ride yesterday my front brake stop working on my DRZ. The master cylinder seems to have no travel and if you pull on the brake lever really hard you can feel it grab a little bit but not enough to even slow down.
I really have no experience with brakes any ideas tips or tricks?

This can happen if your fork seals leak an get on your brakes.. But that doesn't explain your master cylinder

It's not that his brakes aren't holding him back, its the plunger on the master cylinder is frozen. I'd pull the master off and try to pop out that plunger to see if there is corrosion in there

Thanks for the tip

So the little screw that you can adjust on the lever that hits the plunger rattled out far enough it was hitting the throttle tube and not allowing the lever to go in. I bent the shit out of the screw looking for brakes so I wouldn't adjust in but I found a spare in the garage and my brake is ready to rock now. Don't know how I missed it the first dozen times looking at it.

So I bought a new chain and sprocket set and got all that on with no problem (although I had to use my old master link clip since I bent the one that came with the chain). I went from a 50 tooth sprocket back to the stock 48, so I had to adjust the chain adjusters a little bit..

The one on the chain side works fine, it spins freely just like it should. The other side, however, got super sticky, to the point it wouldn't move even when I tapped it with a hammer, so I tried spinning it and SNAP. Busted bolt. There's probably 2 inches of thread sticking out of the hole now and I'm not sure how to get it out. Any ideas?

That's a tough one.. I would try channel locks first to see if you can get a bite. If that does not work, remove the wheel and axle. Take a dremel cutting disc and cut a slot in the screw (like a flathead screw) then use a long screw driver to see if you can back out the bolt that way...

They make a kit and sell it at rmatv. I was going to use it on my 02 Ktm but found an all thread nut. Threaded it on half way and added a bolt to that for the adjuster. Worked great and never had a problem. If you don't want to do that I still have the 2 kits I'd sell for $20. They're more than that each.

Try a bolt extraction kit. I bought mine at Lowes. I use it all the time. It's tricky to get right, but when you do it really works.

A little heat from a torch works great too. Run a tap down the threads once you get the old one out and go crazy on the anti-seize :D

Awesome feedback, thanks guys. I'm gonna try and get that sucker out tonight. If not, I found an almost new replacement swingarm on Ebay for like $60. :D

Well, I tried drilling it out last night and then realized my drill bit wasn't long enough, so it drilled it at a little bit of an angle. Once I ran out of drill bit, there wasn't much left to do. I'll bet I only got maybe a little over an inch in there.

I dunno, as stuck as that stupid bolt was, I'm not sure an easyout is gonna do it. I'm thinking I might have to weld a nut onto the stud and see if it comes out that way. Too bad I don't have a welder. :(

There are tons of people on here with welders that would be happy to weld it for you. Actually, this may be the justification you need to buy a welder. :D

This is somewhat of a related question... Would a 2007 RMZ250 swingarm work on my 2007 KX250F?

I've heard they do, but I'd like a second opinion before I look into it any further.

That's going to be a tough one. I know the RM 100 and the KX 100 are the exact same bike, so maybe kawi and suzuki share designs on other models too. But I also know a yz125 swingarm is nothing like a kx125 or cr125 swingarm.
