Is the power going to the headlight AC or DC? How many watts or volts is it stock? I put an LED light on the 200XCW and bought a second for my 300XC. I have it on the 200 and though its brighter than stock, its not what I was thinking it should be. A guy I have ridden with has one on his KX500 and thing is sooo bright.

Are they the same LEDs (yours vs your buddies)? Not all are created equal and brightness is a huge differentiator.

ok sorry false alarm, i had Hunter start it for the first ride, no start, Hunter pulled the plug and dried it off and then showed it to me saying it was a little wet, i checked spark. saw a little fuel on the plug, no start.
kicked the piss out of it and called it a night
this morning i pulled the plug and it was dripping wet, dried out the cylinder the best i could, put in a new plug, it fired and i burned the rest of the fuel out. the bike was severely flooded, we left the gas valve on and maybe with the altitude change going over the canyon or the barometer change with the thunder storms caused the gas to fill the cylinder...|

we are riding!

This is a video full of bikes catching fire.. a common theme is that they are all KTM's.. is this a ktm issue? what is the cause?

EDIT: Most are KTM's, not ALL.

The one that catches fire at the 2 minute mark was at the Idaho City 100 a couple years ago. It was caused by a hole that wore through the tank and let fuel onto the hot motor. The gas tank issue is not a problem that is uncommon to some older KTM's if the owner does not pay attention to the integrity of the tank.
