all good, sorted out, got the pigtail and install oil and coolant Sensors. So what’s the issue?

My 04 doesn't have a fan relay under hood panelI used the fan relay in the Jeep under hood fuse panel but you could use this. I don't think you need both pin 7 and 8, just pin 8.
Sorry, I was confusing stuff. I used the Transmission control relay or the rear window defrost relay and relabeled it FAN in my fuse box. I think they were both high enough current to handle the fan. I tried to use OEM wiring and relays as much as possible to keep it clean and easy. Just split the OEM Fuse box and cut the wire below/tied into it with new circuit. My 04 doesn't have a fan relay under hood panel
Nice, I like that. like that. I will look at both the trans and rear window relay.Sorry, I was confusing stuff. Behind the gloves box, there is a added circuit tap (with two 10amp fuses) into fuse #10 (instrument cluster) that was used for some sort of lighting unit I won't need, can that be used for 12v+ key hot ?Can someone help me locate a 12V key on power source on 04 tj. I am Wiring the Novak tach emulator.
Thanks
I see they are two fan relay, High and Low, which one to use?I used the fan relay in the Jeep under hood fuse panel but you could use this. I don't think you need both pin 7 and 8, just pin 8.
I would guess you are tying the battery voltage and the ignition on signal to the same pin. Make sure you are connecting to opposite sides of the relay.HELP PLEASE.
I have everything connected, now when I plug the battery the motor statt to crank, key not even on.
The ignition wire in the harness is connected to the dark blue wire on ignition switch A21, and the starter purple wire is tapped into A2 wire pink/black from the starter fuse in fuse box in engine.
What did I do wrong.
Thanks
It doesn't matter what relay you use, they should both be rated for the same current. If you use a two speed fan you will need two relays. I suggest doing what Unstuck said and using a PWM fan controller if you are using a single speed fan. I am not currently but that is on my short list.I see they are two fan relay, High and Low, which one to use?
For the purple starter wire, I have connected it to the small yellow wire on the ignition switch. It starts but was looking to run it to a wire inside the engine bay.I would guess you are tying the battery voltage and the ignition on signal to the same pin. I think that would be D6 on the C107 connector. For the purple starter wire, I have connected it to the small yellow wire on the ignition switch. It starts but was looking to run it to a wire inside the engine bay.
But isn't that on the same line as thr A2 wire highted in blue? Which is where I tried to connect it to before and the truck will just run whn connecting batteryI think that would be D6 on the C107 connector.
Ok, so that will be the T40 wire on C104?Don't run your purple starter solenoid wire to the ignition switch. I’d run it all the way to the output of the starter relay. Or as a minimum connect it to the old starter solenoid wire. Otherwise you’ll burn up your ignition switch.
