If we ever do a toyota-only run, then we won't post it on here. I'd hate to see the drama that would ensue. Somebody would definitely feel left out, which is too bad.

I'll let you organize it Lee ;)

haha ive been that only jeep in a toyota run.... it kinda weird

I've been the only toyota before in a jeep group, and IFS too, and I sure got a lot of weird looks from the jeepers. I swear half of them had never seen a toyota on a trail before. I'm guessing most people become loyal to whatever vehicle they first owned. I started with samis, then put so many toyota parts on them that I realized I liked toyotas more than samis. Toyotas have gotten so popular that they're almost more popular than jeeps in some parts of the country (CA especially). It's bitter-sweet to me, because I'm so glad to see the love for toyota, but I'm kinda sad because I'm not very original anymore driving a yota.

I guess I'll just try to be unique in other ways.

haha, true. I guess I am unique if I still have a bed. My bed's off the truck right now while I build it, but it's going back on as soon as it can.

Plus, my truck is a cleanish 1st gen, and there aren't too many of those.

Possibly. It pulled my old zuk's frame and body on the ground in the garage :D Or I can hook it up and park out in the street. Every now and then I'll give a yank on the winch. If you can finish it before it's in the street, you win. If not. I get to keep it :p

That's up to you guys. I was hoping group 2 would join group 1 for camping, but it's your call. It looks like you and tomtom are the official leaders for group 2.

ok sounds good it would be fun to meet up as one. so how many vehicular devices do you have going in your group?

I'm going to guess about 12-17 in group 1 right now. But that guess may be a little high. I hope we find enough spots to pitch a tent up there. I imagine that quite a few people will be heading home for the night instead of camping, but i've been wrong before.

I've got about 5 friends who say they're coming, but they haven't RSVP'ed on here yet.
