Corey, I think the point trying to be made here is, your attitude, that you are going to do what ever the hell you want and screw the rest of us. This type of attitude is very dangerous for the rest of us who want to keep our public lands open. I don't give a crap if it's wilderness land, sagebrush or a mining district, your lack of concern that most of us feel is upsetting. (sorry if I'm summarizing/generalizing everyones thoughts).
I too feel as others, your arrogance about your precious pictures will only hurt the cause we fight so hard to protect.
IMHO, it's the extremes in our groups that hurt our cause. Not saying this too you Corey, but if we could eliminate the few ATV's, 4x4's etc, that do go off trail and ruin the land, basically, the 5-10% of Dumbass's that trash our trails without regard. and then get rid of the top 5-10% of the extremist in the WAG's and we could get this all worked out!.
I would suggest understanding that most of us just don't want or need to present extra ammo for the otherside.
Careful, he'll come after your avatar next... As you are clearly off the trail...;)

OMG! In the time that it takes to read this thread, I could have driven to Moab, done Hell's Revenge AND Poison Spider AND Fins & Things backwards.

Everybody thinks he is right. Otherwise, he'd be doing something different. You'll never resolve the issue with a mud war.

Personally, I'd rather be wheelin'.

OK..... GO! (I'll start reading right now)

You're right in that we're not going to pursuade e28bimmer into believing that his actions actually have a consequence for all of us. He's replying to the thread right now so I'll let him reply and then lock the thread.

(dude, I came after no one, I merely replied to a question...relax... and if youre so anti GRE, then wtf do you join up with my other groups for??)

Yeah, I think "mother duece" nailed it. No one is going to change anyones mind as to what is right.. so how about I leave it with this:
If you would rather me not post links to my pics from expedtions on the RME site, post your opinion here. if you would like me to continue to post links to pics of expeditions also post your opinion here.
Im not here to cause angst, this is your sandbox, and the 4WD thing your bag, not mine, I have an agenda just as you do and I will continue doing what I do to prepetuate mine and you will do the same, however, its pointless to argue on the internet.
All it comes down to is a few people like Andy and a few others who start resorting to name calling and then enemies are made instead of aquaintances And over something as ridiculous as this??
Ive tried to explain my point as best I can... thats all I can do, the rest is wasted effort.

well, "moron" this thread is about posting "offensive" pics on sites... and you talk smack and have worse pics than I do... so I guess my point is, are you saying your customers are posers?
Well let's see.
None of those pics are off the trail. There on typically their driveway or backyard. If my customers are posers then that's not my business. I only post what they give me. Most sent their pics right after installation. Sorry didn't think that those were offensive pics. Guess I should contact them and have them follow your lead off the trail.....not. Go ahead and vent all you want on me. It still won't change a thing here. RME'rs know what a idiot you are. I seriously doubt that you posted those same pics of yours on Pirate.

After rolling 5 times:
"Here's another shot of it, note how intact it still is... and it still started... Good thing is wasn't a Jeep or worse... an H2....."

I'm guessing a Jeep wouldn't have rolled. ;)

I'd like to see your agenda 'mesh' with that of the greater 4WD community. EVERY thing you do in a vehicle (whether you're a SUWA member or not) is pinned to the 4WD/off-road community. I think most of us were well intentioned about trying to educate you about what is wrong about your pictures. It's totally your right to keep them up and to keep doing the things you are doing. It is America. Most of us that have posted to this thread have been on organized trail cleanups and involved in the sport for quite a while. We've invested a lot of time, energy and $$$$ into building up our image with the general public and we feel that your pictures kinda tear it down. You've got a lot of knowledge to add with your interest/experience of ghost towns and I'd like to see some of the things you 'tour' too.

Good luck and I do hope this makes you think next time you're out and about. :)
