What a lot of people do is run the air bump brackets, but with just a piece of tube with rubber on the bottom. That way, they are adjustable height, and when they can afford airbumps they just slide out the metal tube/rubber end and slide in an airbump. I don't know if I just havnt seen one properly setup or not but I personally am not that impressed with airbumps.

Been thinking about that...and I decided that's what I'm going to do.

problem is ill need to mount them inside the frame cus all the crap on the passenger side of the axle but ill need to re locate my oil filter so that's one more thing I need to buy on top of cans :/

finally got my ram de stroked at the right langth thanks to apex machine!

So as soon as I get my bump stops done I can weld everything up and move on to the back suspension then the doubler.

Feels like its in slow motion for me, I spend at least 2hrs looking at it and browsing the web before I get started lol

Cinda, I checked to see if the driver side pad will hit anything and at full droop the other side will still be on the pad.

Ill check eveything out on Tuesday

I know the feeling! However, when I don't do tons of research first, and I just kind of design it as I go, it always ends up taking more time anyway, and the design usually isn't nearly as good. Looking good!

Thanks!
Just need to make a few tweaks and the bumps are good to go.
I need to make the pad for the passenger side and I'm going to weld everything up and move on to the back and body work.

Made some progress,

I charged up the shocks and got it at ride height and took apart the back.

The 56" Chevy springs are going to work out perfectly and will move the rear axle back 6" from stock, just had to grind a little bit on the bushing sleeve and went right in. The only problem I'm going to have is the springs take a 1/2" bolt and the stock mounts take 9/16" bolts,But weld on washers should fix that.

Shocks aren't even fully extended. Lol
