it's had to see but the panhard bar clears no problem, fully compressed it will get close but that's that bump stops are for. :)

well i was shooting for 44's with a 5.5'' lift but it looks like im at a 6''-7'' lift.
it's 6.5' from the floor to the top of the cage.

is it to tall? i think it's ok but the HUGE wheel opening is throwing me off.
the back has 3.5'' leaf springs and 2'' body lift and the front is about 2'' higher.

sadly it wont stuff that much of the tire lol

well i started fiddling with my steering box and i decided to go full hydro...
past mod's to the steering box area and frame would make the area weak and i would half to cut out my crossmember and re due that cus it would be in the way of the bolt's or get a different worm gear and have the pitman arm backward but then my box would be sticking to far forward (almost in line with the tires)...so i said screw it and bit the bullet.

sadly work is slowing way down and might even be unemployed soon so this is going to slow down too.

if anyone has a bad orbital valve that's rebuildable they want to sell, let me know!

It doesnt sound too tall. Not higher than it is wide. I am doing major bump stops on the one I am building. I am going to limit the up travel to about 4-5 inches.

I really like the look of the big tires, but they are the root of all evil.

yes that is true lol i half to limit my steering cus of it...

Nothing but bad luck this weekend,
had apex machine make me this "adapter tube" cus the ram is 1.1/8'' and the tube insert is for 1''. so that went grate....but now I cant figure out how the mount my ram cus my bracket's take up so much room above the tierod is about the only place and you can see the problem...

so i need to save up even more money for a double ended ram and high steer arms...so im looking at $700 just for that.
:-[

sucks not having a job..

How come you didn't just drill and tap the ram shaft so you can thread the heim directly into it? This may help your mounting issues as well.

Cus I didn't want to drill into a hardened shaft.. And I don't have the right size drill&tap also.

no there's not..I was hoping to put it there but my brackets take up to much room and the hose ports shoot out the side of the ram so with a combination of those I don't think it can fit between there..

The shaft won't be hardened on the end--just the chrome surface, where you wouldn't be drilling/tapping. :) I'd bet I have the right drill/tap for your heim.

Since it's a tie-rod cylinder, it's pretty easy to put the ports somewhere else. (like on top) Don't let that stop you.

I cut the end off the shaft cus it was so long with the Heim lol
Im guessing take the rods out and rotate the body so the ports are up?

Cinda thinking of trying to make a mount like (team Fred/carl's) old setup..

(Brandon) Can ya post a pic of your setup?

Double ended ram would just be so much easier to mount and wouldn't half to keep replacing tierods but that's also a lot more money I don't have..

Steve,
Ill be happy if Santa craps in my chimney lol

I would like to run a sway bar, but that's last on my parts list lol

I did get my sag pump setup fabed up.

They make the double sided kingpin arms for that exactly if you want your tie rod up front. In addition, I also put my tierod behind my diff on my scramber a while back by simply flipping my 60 arms to accomodate the mounting on the rear... very simple and very protected.

Mitch remind me and I can send you some more pics on how my steering is done. I think I might have a double ended steering arm laying around if you decide to go that route, I will just give it you.
