SAMI's Xterra "Stalker"

Jason Goates, SLC Utah

2006 Nissan Xterra S w/ leather interior

Engine- VQ40 DOHC ~ 4.0-liter DOHC V6, 265hp and 284 lb-ft torque

Transmission- 5-speed A/T

T-Case- 4wd Stock

Axles- Stock

Suspension- Top Gun Customs spacers, and AC shackles

Wheels and Tires- 235/8516 10 Ply M/T's on Toyota Tacoma OE steel spare wheels

Winch- Not yet

Lighting- 100w IPF lights up front, w/ clear covers

Favorite Trails- Anywhere in the San Rafael Swell, or central/southern Utah is where I explore.

It got the name 'Stalker' while sitting at the dealership, before we even bought it. My wife told me the color was 'Night Armor', and later on I was trying to recall the name of the color, but instead of 'Night Armor', I called it 'Night Stalker'... So 'Stalker' just stuck.

Day after we picked it up from the dealer

Still looking pretty girly-ish to me ;)

If by 'girly-ish' you mean they actually see dirt, then sure.. I guess they are pretty girly-ish..

Does 'man tire' mean balding 35's mounted on a pavement only Jeep?

... Leave my thread alone unless you can say nice things.. :p

After the 75,000 mile mark.. 33,000ish miles to go...

Thats what I said with both of my Tacomas. "When they are paid off" or "When my warranty expires". With no excuses left I just have to admit that for my uses the IFS suits me well and I won't be changing anytime soon :)

I'm fine with IFS.. For the traveling that I do right now anyways..

It's fun to entertain, but we'll see.

It definitely suits your uses well. I should know I've tried to keep up with you in your Tacoma.

I'd trade ya if I could. ;) Creature comforts of new rigs.....I miss 'em.

Here are some shots of the iphone holder that I bought from arkon.com. It's 90% metal, very HD. You can twist and turn it any way you want, then tighten down the top pedistal with a little wing nut to lock it in place... 36 second install, and $19.99 + shipping.. It weighs 2lbs.. Like I said, HD.. It has two mounting systems, one you just use the OE seat bolt(which is what I did), or you can hard mount it to your center console with provided screws and mounting plate...

Found a second iphone for some photos....

very nice, now if I could just get an iPhone, lol.

...your TPMS light is on ;)

Yes I live with the light.. I don't even notice it.

You can get the clip to mount a bunch of stuff, not just the iphone. I just really dig this mounting system in general. I might get a clip to sit my gps in as well.. That way I could swap it out if I was running my gps for awhile.. Now, to learn how to use my gps... :-\

I too will do an SAS once it's paid off which is 2/10. Not feeling the goose neck, I'd rock something like this:
ProClip

Panavise

I have the Panavise one (for the KJ); the mount sandwiches between the radio bolts and the radio flange so it's very sturdy. It's all about off road sexuality.
