you wont be turned away, thats for sure. I haven't been out there to know how your vehicle will do, but this will be my first time ever taking my blazer out on a trail and driving on obstacles, so I will be right there with you.

My dad is probably going to come with me as well. Can someone give me a link or address to the parking lot we are meeting at. New to the state and I'm not sure where we are going.

I haven't been down there either, from looking at it online and watching a youtube video of some RME guys pulling into the parking lot and looking at the trail maps section on here, it doesn't look to hard to find. With that being said though is there anyone that would want to meet at the gas station at redwood and main street in saratoga?

Sunshine canyon comes up on googlemaps and even apple maps so you can just plug it in and see where the turnoff is. It's easy enough to find and since there will be a bunch of rigs there it will be even easier.

I need to make it to this

If I go and I should I'll meet you there and I'm sure a few more people will be there as well, the Chevron is a typical meeting spot.

I have no idea where this place is. I read something about the Chevron at Redwood and SR73. What time should I plan on meeting someone there to take me the rest of the way in?

Cunnart, I am in Highland, we can hook up once I know where we are headed.

The first post says it starts at 8:30 so I'm sure you'll see people at the Chevron around 8. Follow the rigs. It's about 20-25 minutes to get to the parking lot from there. You just head west on 73 until it curves northwest-bound and the parking lot is on the right. Someone that will be there on time will show the way I'm sure. I have a prior engagement so I'll be showing up late if I can make it at all

If you've never been, it always helps to have a map/directions. here you go. Zoom in/out to get an idea of where it is. Even though Google calls it "sunshine canyon rd", it's not. Sunshine is further north.
