Thanks man. I love 1st gens too. There are a million 2nd gens out there, and their lines are a little boring (no offense). And it's hard to find a 1st gen that was built right without cutting corners.

Don't get me wrong. 2nd gens rock, and they're a lot cheaper and less labor-intensive to built, but there's just something magical about a 1st gen with all 2nd gen parts

We'll be heading out to snakes this weekend if anyone wants to come. I'm going to try Wayne's World for the first time. It's going to be freezing, but it should be sunny at least.

I've got die for 1.75 that I might sell you. Did you use a drill press or a mill? That the exact one I am planning on building. But once my '81 sells, I may not need a bender anymore.

We used an end mill. You should PM me a price on that die (when/if the time comes). I'd hate to see you get rid of this beast.. Unless it was to me of course then we could work the die in :greg:

I've got the die for sale with the rest of the materials to build the gottrikes bender (see the tools section in the classifieds). Not too helpful for you, but I'm sure there are others who need a bender.

If someone wants to buy all the materials except the die, then I'll sell you the die.


OR I could sell the die for $7500, and it'll come with an '81 toyota on 37s

it all works fine. I just forgot to close the flap that directs air to the heater.

It was a bitter-sweet night. I sold angelo to Cascadia. Tyson, you're welcome to take this thread over as angelo continues to grow. I can afford my race miata now, and I don't have to worry about getting a tow rig anymore since I can wheel my taco.
