I'm also looking for someone to machine my IFS hubs down about 1/4". I don't have time to run to summit machine or else I would. Any recommendations in the Lehi/AF area?

Also looking for someone with a press to help me press on my 4.7 tcase gears.

Not sure how much I can get done tomorrow, but this is the goal:

- install large diff armour
- shave front axle
- prep front housing for paint
- install knuckles

I'm currently planning on cutting off the IFS on Friday night. I hope to get the sas done by Saturday night.

After the SAS is done, I need to
- install chevy springs in the rear
- turn front tcase into crawlbox
- put 4.7s in rear case
- mount duals, cut holes in the floor of the cab, dog-leg the twin sticks, measure driveline lengths
- get drivelines built
- install drivelines
- install sliders
- install rear bumper
- put the wheels on

Wow, that's a big list. I could use a lot of help on Saturday if anyone feels like swinging by.

Width = 2.36"

Front Eyelet = 18mm ID

Rear Eyelet = 18mm ID

84-88 Toyota Rear

Flat length = 48"

Front Half = 20.5"

Rear Half = 27.5"

Width = 2.36"

the ones i have are a 84 to 88 pack they work great

Can you get yours to Brandon by friday night? Brandon is making a run down to my place on saturday morning. If you can get them to him by saturday morning, then I can get yours. Otherwise I'm going to send Brandon to the junkyard to get me some.

Are the spring centers re-drilled, or are they still stock?

Ok, my brain has stopped working. I need you guys to think for me.

I need to do my chevy springs swap in the rear by Friday night. Here are the parts I have:

- front spring hangers
- shackle plates
- springs

Here's the list of parts I need:

- rear shackle hanger
- shackle bolts/front hanger bolts
- ubolt flip kit
- bushings (which bushings do I need)

Did I miss anything?

Shackles, unless you already have them.

2 weeks from tomorrow i am heading out.
If I didn't have so much to do(fixing my junk plus moving and fixing my house) I'd come give you a hand.

tyler - thanks, I may still pick it up. I've just been so swamped running for parts after work that it gets in the way of my build.

I also have a lead on an elocker front that I'll probably snag.

16 days to go...

Bushing, Rear, Leaf Spring, $2.10, 110022-1 TG web site

I told you wrong on the front hanger it 11 in on 1st and 2nd gens
On 3rd gen trucks, mount the front hanger 9" To 9 1/2". 9" the axle will sit slightly rear of center and 9 1/2" should get the axle centered.

Rear shackle hanger 4in back

Use where you want your axle center as the best reference all chevy's are different because of the where so make sure to double check before you burn anything in.

Thank you Brandon, I was hoping you'd chime in. I'll get those parts from low range today.

I think I'll use a plumb bob to make sure my wheels are centered in my fenders.

I spent a good 3 hours in the garage, but I still didn't get much done. Just more work on the front housing. I shaved the plug and I got the spring pad on.

I'm afraid I may not get the sas done this weekend since FROR is taking longer than expected to get me my tacoma/tundra brake adapters in. Either way, I'll get as much done as I can. I'll probably take a half day on Friday at work so I can get more done. My plan is to do the chevy swap Friday, starting around 1PM. Once the chevies are back there, I'll start cutting off the IFS and getting it ready to put the front axle in on saturday.

I didn't know you were running chevies Tyler.

Brandon asked me a week ago for any extra chevy leaves, but if he doesn't want them, or if I have even more extras, then you can have 'em tyler. He's got a runner too, and they sag just a bit too much with the top on. That being said, I'm going to be running a camper shell too, so I may need the extra leaves. It'll take me a month or so to figure out the spring setup I want to go with, but I'll def keep you two in mind.
