The upcoming moto ride/quick report.

Track riding is awesome. Single-track riding is awesome. Dual sport riding is awesome. All of them can also be lame if you ride crappy area (Jordan River is as bad as it gets) or with crappy people.

That's too bad about the wreck. We were there Thursday also. My buddy Luke got sideways in the mud ruts on the small track and high sided a bit. Minor shoulder separation... I blame not riding enough and going too big too soon in the season.

Headed to St George tomorrow for a weekend of riding. If anyone is down there and wants to join us, let me know.

I will be down there with my son and will be out in Warner Valley Saturday morning with a friend and his son that race also. I am not sure what riding we are planning on doing, but I need to do some suspension testing and tuning to make sure my bike is ready for Idaho City.

Do you want to do Toquerville Falls? I am good with where ever. I will get your number from Tyson.

I would love to, but it looks like my plans just changed. I just got a call from Brad with Notch Peak Racing and the root problem of me blowing my shock twice is my shock shaft has gone bad. He won't have the parts until Tuesday of next week. Boy......I am going to be cutting it close to get everything ready for Idaho.

I rode some new single track out in Eaglr mountain. Super crazy technical hill climbs and pure rock river bottoms that felt like sand. And fast sweeping single track gulleys and trees we rode fast for about 3:30 hours almosy completely straight.

I also roached my clutch.
Going to have to order a new one asap.

I would like to go do that.. Let me know next time you go. :)

I have an itch to scratch, and may go out somewhere this afternoon (wife permitting)
I may just tag along with the jeep group doing the snakes.. that way someone can take my bike out when the clutch breaks again.. :)

KTM's for you. Yamahas have to be pushed on cliffs to get them to stop running.

I've had 6 ktm's. None of them ever left me stranded. One had a running hot issue. But I think it was from the previous owner installing an sx motor in an xcf. Think he did something wrong. The rest have left me more than grinning everytime I even looked at them.

Took a dive today on the wash behind Fort Pierce. It was a fluke by my rear passed my front and I landed hard from a standing position. I think I took care of one of the three ribs I broke last spring. This sucks.

On a better note, Harrison likes the Rekluse "kinda". There is a wash we go both ways that in some spots is only a few inches wider than your handle bars and he went right up it with no issues today.
