Sweet. What bike does he ride? I love watching good riders.

He rides a TTR 230 geared like a rock crawler. You can put it in 1st and just let go of the clutch with no throttle input. He also has the seat cut down and a lowering link. He is vertically challenged. His bike has probably sold a dozen TTR's to people we have rode with. It really is an awesome single track bike if your a short person.

Sweet man, sounds like a good day. I did forest lake to 157 to pole line pass the other day too. One of these times I want to do the whole ridge trail (157)

I'm surprise there is still an impassable amount of snow up there. You must have been pretty high.

Maybe you could hook up with some of us on the occasional evening ride?

I would love to come catch an evening ride with you guys, unfortunately I work graveyards. But I have Sun-Tues and every other wednesday off so if you ride on those days i'm game!

On a side note this was my first ride with my Rekluse I love it!! Never have a bike with out one again

Heres the OLD guy I went to school chasing all evening. We went for a ride out past Santa Clara. Great ride, lots of whoops. My bike is not sprung for this type of riding because I normally do a lot of single track that does not have that many whoops. Fun,fast ride, this gentleman's name is Vic and he is really fast on his CR500. I went back to his house to check out his CRF'd framed CR500 that he is working on. Sweet bike. Vic works for the company I am down here working for, great guy. He had a couple of shelves in the very back of his garage loaded with trophys. No wonder he was so fast. He said he has riden with Roger DeCoster a couple of times. Honestly, I believe him.

Riding fast on a CR500 is inevitable... Living to tell about it is another story! :D Sounds like a lot of fun--I hear you on the whoops they're fun for about two minutes lol.

Head up the Alpine loop side (right fork) and about half way there is a parking lot on the right, that's Pine Hollow.

Yup that's the one. I think Tyson and I are meeting at my house at 9:00 and riding up. Anyone else want to go?
