I refer to many of my projects as “nonsense”, but this one truly is. A couple DOM tubes (one slipped inside as an axle), some hole-sawing, weld/paint, re-purposed fancy billet end caps, and I’ve got a forward tilting hood/grille. At the very least, shock adjustments will be easier. 🤷‍♂️

Popular upgrade back in the day on 4.2L Jeeps. Depending on orientation, you’ve got the option of it being starved for fuel going up or down steep obstacles. 😂
Probably won’t see anything more than a dirt road, if it vibrates too much I think the rust holding the body together might vaporize

My grandpa used to tell me stories and I don't know how true they are, of having to Baja the Model T in reverse to get up steep gnarly hills to keep the carb from starving.

Dad had to do this in our VW Type 2 more than once. I dunno if it was the carb or just lower gearing in reverse that did the trick tho.

My grandpa had the same story. He dated a girl that lived in the Avenues and had to drive up there in reverse.
