I’m new to body work, I worked on this for the past two days, I thinks it’s coming along really nice. I’m taking my time building it up one small layer at a time. I still have about 1/2 inch to go to get everything flush. What do you all think?

You'll get it. Keep slinging that mud :D; It actually works awesome if you don't put the catalyst in it. Just put it on straight out of the can. Less likely to crack. Use 40 grit sandpaper to get the shape right. Then go from there.

I hope you all know I’m not really responsible for this, I saw it at work and after my jaw hit the ground I thought I would share it with you all.

Spent most of the last week at my family's property working to replace the roof on our 95+ year old cabin.

Before:

Notice the broken boards in the deck...with the rain and snow Monday morning the deck was super slick. As I was climbing off the roof, the ladder slid out and I fell onto the deck breaking a few planks and a few bones (insignificant bones, I'll be just fine). Spent a couple of nights at home before going back up to supervise and help from the ground.

It was a long week, especially since I was basically worthless for a few days, but it'll be awesome when we get it done.

@moab_cj5 what constitutes an insignificant bone?

I remember you talking about doing this work years ago, I'm glad you guys were able to work on it. It's a really neat piece of property and I'm jealous.

On the vertibre there are some little spurs or "wings" per the ER Dr. I fractured 3 of those. They have no bearing on the stability of my spine, they just hurt like Hell. I see a spine specialist tomorrow morning, so maybe he will have a different opinion? To me they are insignificant because they limit my activity through pain, not potential for damage.

I am already feeling quite a bit better than a week ago, so I am fairly confident no permanent damage or issues will result, but I guess I get more info tomorrow after I visit with the specialist Dr.
