You've got me beat by a lot. I may have more miles but less hours. ;) jk. I have only put about 45 hours on my bike since I got it the day before Firebirds race, whenever that was.

I have put some pretty good hours on my KTM300. I went out to adjust my valves, but couldn't figure out how to get the valve cover off.

Picked up a new LED for night rides.
I'll fuss with a mount soon.

The LED's I put on my big bike are impressive, I went with a 30* flood light... I'm sure the one you got will be great for night rides.

I'll be interested in seeing the location & mount! Have you seen these? Looks like a neat way to integrate a light with a number plate...

I still have 3 of the small LED lights that Deviant did a group buy on. I need to fab a bracket up for my 300.

Your poor neighbors Stratton

My neighbors love me. I help them fix all their junk ;)

Another 30 hours or so on the bike and I had another hot start issue during the Chimney Rock race....
Well I checked the valves tonight and the left exhaust was a bit tight so I went with a .010mm smaller shim
and both the intakes were tight too.
Right was at .165 went to a .156 and left was at .160 went to a .151 and I still need a bit more according to the feeler gauge....

I'm off to get some shims in the morning so I can do a test ride to make sure the bike AND mostly my broken finger is ready for the Yost race.
I won't race if the finger is not feeling good.

Sounds like I need to take the head in for some machine work.
I'll probably to a piston and timing chain too.
