I almost didn’t mind that he tried to kill us.
At the S turn? When we lived in Francis we would to turn on the police scanner and listen to all the emergencies in on that road. Without fail, every weekend a bad wreck up there. Mostly from animals and livestock but also motorcycles that would hard cut that S turn with oncoming traffic.

Oh no, the S turn was just regular scary. He crossed over a double yellow line and into oncoming traffic to give a cyclist way more room than they needed. That was just a few miles east of the exit off of highway 40.

He drove that entire road without looking at the passenger mirror a single time. Who care what that 53’ trailer is doing behind you when you’re poorly negotiating a 20 mph S curve? The guard rail cares, that’s who. Poor guard rail is probably still shaking and crying.

Katelynn and I were working on the buggy in the garage and we hear a dirt bike zoom up our dead end road quickly followed by sirens. The kid crashed in the dirt and couldn't get the bike started before the cop got to him. He ended up getting a ride home with some friends to load up the bike. I hope he got a ticket at the minimum. I would think evading the police would have possibly landed him in jail with an impounded dirt bike. My guess is he was probably 16-19.
