Took a drive to Fish Lake for lunch. On the way home through Fremont something jumped on the trailer, that happened to be hitched to my brother’s truck, and followed me home.
Definitely needs some mechanical attention in some areas, but it has it where it counts.

I’m stoked! A few things need attention like tune up, wiring, cooling system, etc. More pressing though the single pot master cylinder needs to go and it needs exhaust. It’s an open header 350 right now. Down the road I’m going to need to figure out a trans or rear end swap. The truck was originally an I-6 and they swapped in the ‘70 something 350 and bolted it to the stock granny low three speed. I think the rear is an Eaton HO72 with 4:56s and there are zero gear options. Top speed is like 45, this thing is geared low! That looks like a fun project!
I wish mine was that body style. That would look cool parked next to Hickeys truck!

Thanks. Yeah, I’m going to keep this thing 8 lug so I think a 14 bolt is in the future. My '69 C10 has a 12 bolt with 3.08's... I'm going to run it with a TH350, don't expect too much time on the freeway. There was a bolt pattern change around '70-71, to 5 lug so beware.
