Not usually our thing but one of our sponsors (chupacabra) invited us to a Polaris meet and greet and let us drive his new Pro R. I definitely see the appeal to them for go fast and absolute destroy the bumps and rocks on the path. Also got a hotdogs out of it. Katelynn drove out to it. I get to drive back.20241017_182255.jpg20241017_182915.jpg

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
My 7.3 needed glow plugs for the 2-3 years I owned it. I’d start plugging it in at night once it got down to about 60* and always kept starting fluid on hand.

The foxes are going to eat well tonight… 20 gophers in 1 day at the city park. I think the city is going to be very pleased with this relationship.

In case anybody fact checks me and counts, 19 are shown because we had one trap we forgot about and found after.

We formed a pyramid of them on the fox altar. I can’t wait to see the eyes on the fox when it comes tonight lol 😳

Whatever happened with the camera bandits at the Fox feeding grounds?
Nothing. The detective really wanted to identify the culprits and work with the schools to find them but I haven’t heard from him in a while. Some other details came to light about the kids based on a separate interaction and we’re all a little concerned about their home situation.

Took a trip to MT over the weekend. Caught some interesting vehicles

Good tag

Coming up on this guy to pass, looked like a hockey stick hanging out on the drivers side. Was solid, not bouncing in the wind.
Ended up being the fender flare from some front end damage

Here are some X-rays from my recent surgery. Thankfully got the cast off today. Can start applying 25% weight to it for a week. Then 50% for a few day then 75% for a few days and then 100% still in a walking boot bit Will be glad to be on both feet again. It sure feels weird though to put weight on it again. I will he far from 100% for the memorial run but good enough to drive my buggy around. 20241022_104413.jpg

When I was significantly younger and slightly dumber than I am now, I tried to wrap my ankle around a tree while I was strapped to a snowboard, and I mostly succeeded. I've had a plate and six pins in it ever since. I did not listen to my doc, and I started using the walking boot (and then NOT using the walking boot) way sooner than I was supposed to, and I've regretted it ever since. I know it sucks, but don't be tempted to rush the Dr's timeline. Do what the man says.
